Microsoft Merges Consumer and Commercial Copilot into a Unified 'Super App'

Microsoft has announced it is combining its consumer and commercial Copilot AI assistants into a single "super app" interface. This update merges the previously separate Copilot and Microsoft 365 Copilot apps, allowing both personal and work accounts to be used within the same application.
The unified app will recycle the "Microsoft Copilot" name but features an updated app icon. This integration means Windows users will no longer see two separate Copilot icons in the system tray or taskbar. The new app combines Copilot's chat and image creation capabilities with the productivity power of Microsoft 365.
