Runway Launches Media API Platform, Showcases Video Fixer Hackathon App

Runway officially introduced its new media API platform, which builds in Runway's creative generation capabilities.
Additionally, Runway showcased three apps built over a single weekend using the platform, including Scene Fixer by AL Anany. This is a video repair tool designed to fix mismatched AI-generated clips. Its vision AI automatically flags inconsistencies in wardrobe, props, lighting, or eyeline, and fixes only the selected area while keeping the rest of the frames and audio intact, eliminating the need to reroll the entire video.
