DeepSeek Open-Sources Harness: An Agent Framework Where Everything is a Plugin
MaziyarPanahi · x · 2026-08-13
DeepSeek officially released the developer preview of its agent framework, DeepSeek Harness v0.1, fully open-sourced under the MIT license.
Built on the Cordis meta-framework, its core philosophy is "Everything is a plugin". Models, tools, skills, sessions, sandboxes, filesystems, loops, orchestration, and UI are all implemented as plugins, allowing developers to freely mix, match, replace, and extend them. The GitHub repo quickly gained massive attention, securing 4.2k stars in a short period.
