DeepSeek Announces V4 Lineup, Introduces Peak/Off-Peak API Pricing with 50% Drop

DeepSeek officially announced that alongside the release of its V4 lineup, it is updating API pricing by introducing peak and off-peak rates.
The new off-peak rates will be 50% lower than peak rates, enabling more flexible workload scheduling for developers. The new pricing structure will take effect at 16:00 UTC on August 16, 2026.
