DeepSeek Launches V4-Pro: Native Responses API Support and Enhanced Agents

DeepSeek has officially launched the DeepSeek-V4-Pro model, with weights now available on Hugging Face.
Key highlights of the new release include:
- Major Agent Upgrades: Significant production gains for agentic workflows.
- Flexible Reasoning Effort: Both V4-Pro and V4-Flash support adjustable reasoning effort—low for simple tasks, high for daily Agent workflows, and max for complex operations.
- Native API Support: Optimized for Codex with a one-click setup, featuring native support for the OpenAI Responses API.
V4 Pro is currently accessible via app/web using "Expert Mode" and is also available through the API.
