DeepSeek has officially announced the launch of DeepSeek-V4-Pro, introducing several major updates:
- Agent Upgrades: Significant production-ready improvements for Agent capabilities.
- Flexible Reasoning Effort: Both V4-Pro and V4-Flash allow adjustable reasoning effort (low for simple tasks, high for daily Agent workflows, max for complex tasks).
- API Support: Native OpenAI Responses API support, optimized for Codex with one-click setup.
V4 Pro is now available on app/web via “Expert Mode” and accessible via API.
