Qingtian Zu Reaches 7B Valuation in 6 Months with Uber-Style Robot Rental
快鲤鱼 · wechat · 2026-08-13
While capital heavily funds embodied AI hardware with little commercial return, Qingtian Zu is applying a light-asset "Uber-style" model to the robot rental market. Instead of developing its own robots, the platform connects idle humanoid robots from upstream manufacturers with downstream city partners for deployment in entertainment scenarios like mall promotions and corporate events.
Founded by former Meituan and Alibaba executives, the company leverages internet traffic strategies for rapid customer acquisition. It has established over 200 city partnerships, with an average order value of 3,000-5,000 RMB and a payback period of 6 to 12 months. As robot inventory grows, the startup aims to expand beyond B2B performances to C-end ticketed interactive experiences, pushing the boundaries of Robotics-as-a-Service (RaaS).
