For years, the European robotics industry has sat in the shadow of the US and China. However, recent record funding rounds, the emergence of Europe's first humanoid unicorn, and new startups exiting stealth signal that the continent is beginning to close the gap.

According to Grand View Research, Europe's humanoid robot market is projected to grow from $462 million in 2026 to over $4 billion by 2033, marking a 36.5% CAGR. While manufacturing remains the largest sector today, residential robotics is expected to be the fastest-growing segment over the next decade.

Companies like Germany's NEURA Robotics are drawing increasing support from industrial giants such as Bosch and Schaeffler. Although not yet on par with the US and China, Europe's foundation and capital investment are accelerating rapidly.
