Baidu Famou Releases AI4S Strategy, Deploying in Port Scheduling and Forest Disease Control

Baidu Famou officially released its AI4S "1+10+N" strategy, aiming to use self-evolving decision agent technology to help researchers and enterprises find optimal solutions for complex problems within vast possibility spaces. The strategy includes a core base, ten interdisciplinary research outcomes, and an "AI4S Scientist Plan" for 100 scholars.
In terms of industrial deployment, Famou has achieved results in multiple scenarios: boosting core scheduling metrics by over 10% at Qingdao Port and reducing wind resistance simulation time from 24 hours to 10 minutes for Alte Automotive. Additionally, Baidu partnered with Nanjing Forestry University to launch an AI-driven pine wood nematode disease prevention platform, using AI to screen spectral features, increasing early detection to 98% and potentially saving tens of millions in control costs.
