Baidu's AI Boosts Early Detection of Pine Wilt Disease to 98% Accuracy

Baidu announced significant AI4Science results from its collaboration with Nanjing Forestry University using the Famou agent.
The AI tool helped researchers narrow down 107 features to approximately five, increasing the early-stage detection rate for pine wilt disease from 89.1% to 98%. To further support academic research, Baidu also launched a new program providing research resources, technical guidance, and collaboration opportunities for 100 scholars.
