Developer Michael Sitarzewski turned a Reddit thread into an open-source project called The Agency, featuring 51 specialist AI agent personas, which has garnered 143,000 stars on GitHub.

The project aims to solve the cold-start problem of coding agents by eliminating the need to write system prompts from scratch. It includes 51 defined roles covering frontend, backend, QA, DevOps, product design, and even community management. These personas work natively with Claude Code: users simply drop the .md files into the designated directory to activate them mid-session.
