AI video generation tool Revid announced a 50% price cut across its video generation offerings, dropping Seedance 2.5 from 200 to 100 credits per 5 seconds. The team stated the price reduction follows cheaper upstream model costs and criticized the industry trend of offering 'unlimited' generation, which often results in long queues and throttling. Revid maintains a per-second billing model and automatically refunds failed generations.
