Anthropic Rolls Out Cross-Device Sync for Claude Chrome Extension
CodeByPoonam · x · 2026-08-13
Anthropic has announced that its Claude browser side panel extension now supports seamless cross-device synchronization. Claude Cowork sessions started in the Chrome browser will automatically sync with desktop, web, and mobile apps.
Because the session state is tied to the user account rather than a single device, users can continue their unfinished tasks on their phone or other devices without needing to re-explain the context.
