Poor Man's Agentic Modeling: Simulating LLM-Agent Societies on a Laptop
Igor Itkin · hf · 2026-08-13
This project presents a low-cost approach for large-scale LLM-agent society simulations. The core idea is to replace individual LLM agents with low-parameter surrogates fitted from cheap queries. It introduces a validity prediction mechanism based on an interaction-order and memory taxonomy, making scalable society simulations feasible on a standard laptop.
