xAI Releases Grok 4.6: AI Now Autonomously Optimizes Inference Code
rayhotate · x · 2026-08-13
xAI has officially released the Grok 4.6 model. The major highlight is the introduction of RSI (Recursive Self-Improvement), where the team trained and evaluated the model directly on real engineering tasks like production inference and kernel optimization for their accelerators.
The model is already shipping optimizations into xAI's production environment, accelerating model development itself.
