Anthropic Routes 65% of PRs via Agents, Raising Enterprise Data Concerns
tekbog · x · 2026-08-13
At a recent Anthropic event, Boris Cherny revealed that about 65% of the company's pull requests are now handled by Claude Tag, with his own usage hitting 90%. Anthropic is heavily promoting Tag as the next evolution of AI agents.
However, the massive data access required by these agents has sparked unease among users. Developers pointed out that even with enterprise Zero Data Retention (ZDR) policies, employees using personal accounts or third-party tools inevitably leak sensitive company data to AI labs.
