CapCut Launches $80K AI Video Challenge Powered by Seedance 2.5 Globally

Seedance 2.5 is now globally available on CapCut, with support for an upcoming 1080p resolution. Creators can leverage features like AI Video, AI Edit, and AI Extend to take the same official opening scene and develop it into entirely different narrative directions.
CapCut has simultaneously launched the Wave 2 Video Challenge. Participants must use the CapCut desktop app to extend the story into a video of 3 minutes or longer and post it on TikTok, Instagram, or X. Running until September 6, the challenge offers a total prize pool of $80,000, with a $50,000 grand prize for the winner.
