Countering the view that advanced AI models will become cost-efficient only for a few enterprise customers, economist Daron Acemoglu predicts the opposite. He argues that the "chatbot interface" will not be how we ultimately use AI.

Instead, he envisions AI embedded in robots, acting as autonomous agents that work independently for days and proactively monitor the world.
