Pindrop is a macOS menu bar dictation app that converts speech to text. It operates offline by default to ensure privacy, with optional cloud transcription available.
Built entirely with Swift/SwiftUI, the app is powered by native Apple Silicon transcription engines. Users can choose from multiple local transcription models, including WhisperKit, Parakeet, SenseVoice, and Apple's built-in on-device models.
