Physics-Based Browser Watercolor Simulator Supports 52 Pigments

A developer built a high-fidelity, browser-based watercolor simulator using the Kubelka-Munk model for color mixing predictions, based on Curtis et al.'s research on computer-generated watercolor.
The tool currently features 52 pigments and experimental techniques like salt and alcohol to alter textures. It also includes a code mode that prints real underlying physics function calls while painting. The project is now being adapted into a kid-friendly version.
