Founder Uses ChatGPT to Cure Dog's Cancer, Launches YC-Backed Gamgee

After his dog Rosie was diagnosed with terminal cancer and failed standard treatments, Paul Conyngham used ChatGPT combined with computational genomics to design a personalized mRNA cancer vaccine. Following the treatment, several of Rosie's tumors shrank.
Leveraging this success, he officially launched Gamgee (YC S26), a startup focusing on personalized mRNA cancer vaccines for dogs.
