JeremyCMorgan · x · 2026-08-13
Developer Simon W released a CLI tool called mcp-explorer, which acts like curl for the Model Context Protocol (MCP). It allows developers to list available tools, inspect full schemas, call tools directly, and emit JSON, while also supporting testing between modern and legacy protocol behaviors. Small protocol tools like this dramatically improve the understanding and development efficiency of new infrastructure protocols.
