Amidst debates over AI-generated "slop" and mandatory watermarking, a heavy AI user expressed strong frustration. They argued that using AI for translation and editing doesn't diminish the human author's original intent, making forced watermarks seem absurd.
The core argument is that content should be judged on its own merits rather than its creation tool. Humans produce plenty of low-quality content anyway, and interacting with smart AI can sometimes be preferable to dealing with poor human input.
