DeepMind Policy Lead and Experts Launch AI Governance Publication
round · x · 2026-08-13
A new publication named Pax Machina has been launched, dedicated to exploring how institutions should adapt and evolve in the face of powerful AI. The project is led by figures including Séb Krier (Policy Lead at Google DeepMind) and Maximilian Kroner Dale (member of Meta's Governance Innovation Council).
The platform has already published three core essays discussing new institutional designs for powerful AI, AGI's bureaucratic future, and value drift within institutions. The editors are actively calling for concrete proposals and design principles regarding the architecture of an AI-enabled world, with submissions currently open.
