xAI Launches Grok 4.6 Model and Early Beta Grok Bot Teammates
aman_madaan · x · 2026-08-13
xAI has officially released the Grok 4.6 model, which reportedly excels at handling the hardest, longest-running tasks while remaining fast and inexpensive, with notable improvements in frontend development.
Alongside the model, the company introduced Grok Bot in early beta. Positioned as an AI teammate for desktop and iOS, it features:
- Tool Usage: Bots can log into your apps and websites to navigate tools just like a human user.
- Workflow Learning: Users can show a Bot a workflow once; it saves it as a routine and runs it autonomously next time.
- Multi-Bot Collaboration: Users can create multiple Bots that work in parallel, pass tasks between each other in the same thread, and operate 24/7.
