Building Specialized AI Harnesses: The Core Software Engineering Challenge of the Decade

While general-purpose agent frameworks like Claude Code are great for initial exploration, there is massive value in building specialized harnesses once problem constraints become clear. Using AI to generate these harnesses—which combine soft constraints (e.g., skill files) and hard constraints (e.g., deterministic code)—will be the core software engineering challenge of this decade.
