ByteDance's Seedance 2.5 Tested: Supports 30-Second Videos and Multimodal References
Uncanny_Harry · x · 2026-08-13
A user tested the performance transfer capabilities of ByteDance's video generation model, Seedance 2.5, and reported being highly impressed. By feeding the model a self-recorded speech video and an image of an orc, the creator successfully generated a video of an orc warlord delivering a speech with matching performance and emotional transfer.
According to the product page, Seedance 2.5 supports direct generation of narrative videos up to 30 seconds long without post-production stitching. It allows users to include up to 50 full-modal references (images, videos, audio) in a single task and can handle complex assets like 3D white models and product packaging. The tool also features precise local video editing and multilingual controls.
