Ex-Cognition & OpenAI Members Launch Hone for Org-Level AI Agents
marvinvonhagen · x · 2026-08-13
Startup Hone officially launched, founded by ex-founders and early core contributors from Cognition, Mercor, Ramp, and OpenAI.
The company aims to bridge the gap between frontier AI capabilities and actual economic value. Hone argues that closing this gap requires reorganizing work around organizational outcomes rather than individual tasks. To achieve this, they are building AI that continuously creates, orchestrates, and improves agents and software to own and deliver real-world organizational outcomes over weeks or months.
