Suno Inks Global Licensing Deal with BMG for Upcoming Music Model
jordiponsdotme · x · 2026-08-12
AI music generation platform Suno has announced a global licensing deal with music rights company BMG. The agreement establishes a strategic framework for BMG's recorded and publishing repertoire, ensuring participating artists and songwriters are compensated and settling prior copyright use.
BMG will also participate in creating Suno's upcoming set of music models. This makes BMG the second major rightsholder to partner with Suno after Warner Music Group, while Universal and Sony Music continue their ongoing infringement lawsuits against the AI company.
