Google Launches Pixel 11: Deep Gemini Integration Focuses on Agentic AI
RebeccaBellan · x · 2026-08-12
Google officially launched the Pixel 11 series. The new phones feature minimal hardware upgrades compared to their predecessor, with a $100 price increase but a base storage upgraded to 256GB.
The core of this update lies in software and AI capabilities. Pixel 11 deeply integrates Gemini, focusing on Agentic AI. U.S. users can leverage Gemini to complete background tasks like ordering groceries, booking rides, or buying coffee. Gemini can even call businesses on users' behalf for table reservations. Users can take over tasks or review AI call transcripts at any time. In the coming weeks, Gemini will connect with third-party apps like Granola, Otter.ai, and OpenTable for integrated operations.
