AWS ML Blog · rss · 2026-08-12
To meet strict data sovereignty requirements for regulated sectors like healthcare and legal, UK software firm OneAdvanced self-hosts Llama 4 Maverick and Llama Guard 4 on AWS London region.
Architecture & Workflow
- Uses Amazon SageMaker AI on p5 instances with vLLM to serve long-context (120K+ tokens) inference.
- Built over 50 domain-specific agents using Strands Agents SDK, covering healthcare, legal, HR, etc., alongside a no-code agent builder for non-technical users.
- Deployed Llama Guard 4 to replace the older version, significantly reducing false rejection rates in content moderation.
The solution achieves full UK data sovereignty and supports the company's ISO 42001 AI governance certification.
