Use /delegate to Seamlessly Hand Off Work Between AI Agents and Teammates
jacob_posel · x · 2026-08-12
Developer Jacob Posel shared a highly useful AI workflow command, /delegate, which allows users to hand off work seamlessly to teammates or AI agents.
The command automates the following:
- Shares the relevant project context.
- Transfers access to necessary files and API keys.
- Sends an agent-ready DM with everything needed to pick up the work.
Posel notes he frequently uses it to hand off work from a Slack agent to Claude Code or Codex, emphasizing that it works flexibly in any direction: from cloud agents to local tools, or between human teammates.
