The co-founder of Sourcegraph shared a practical experience using the AI coding assistant Amp. Developers can simply state their needs, and Amp quickly generates bespoke software via Portals and orbs that runs across different devices and browsers.
Using the optimization of cross-device dictation latency as an example, he illustrates that developers shouldn't settle for mediocre AI-generated code, but should leverage AI to improve fine details, such as handling timing discrepancies across various platforms.
