Big Four AI Alliances Compromise Independent Safety Audits for Anthropic

According to the Financial Times, the AI consulting business of the "Big Four" is starting to limit which top AI companies they can independently audit.
Deloitte, PwC, and KPMG all have public alliances with Anthropic to extend Claude into client delivery and implementation. Due to this conflict of interest, EY appears to be Anthropic’s likely independent auditor. This highlights the growing tension between rapid AI commercialization and objective third-party safety oversight.
