ChatGPT Pro Reset Date Glitches, Support Unable to Investigate

A ChatGPT Pro user reported an issue where their Codex usage reset date unexpectedly changed. The system originally displayed August 7, but the date suddenly shifted to August 12 just as the user was running out of usage.
After contacting OpenAI support, navigating through AI replies, and requesting an escalation, the user received a final answer: the support team cannot see the event-by-event reset history, cannot determine what caused the date change, cannot escalate it to a team that can check, and cannot compensate for the missing usage.
The user expressed frustration that a paid product—where usage limits directly dictate service availability—could 'hallucinate' reset dates while support remains powerless to resolve it.
