xAI has announced the early beta of Grok Bot, positioning it as an AI teammate capable of handling real work.
Key Features:
- Persistence & Cloud Execution: Operates within cloud computers that keep working continuously, even after the user steps away.
- No-API Dependency: Can sign into websites and applications just like a human user, bypassing the need for clean APIs or MCPs.
- Multi-Agent Collaboration: Multiple Bots can message one another, share context, and hand off work to specialists, including a manager Bot coordinating several jobs.
- Workflow Recording: Can watch a user perform a workflow, save it as a routine, absorb corrections, and repeat the process autonomously later.
Availability: The beta is currently restricted to SuperGrok Heavy, Cursor Ultra, and Cursor Teams Premium users, while enterprise access is waitlisted.
