Since AI agents incur costs with every tool call, this mechanism provides a pre-call security check. It evaluates whether a target endpoint is trustworthy, has high uptime, and offers a sufficient success rate for payments. This prevents agents from interacting with broken or hijacked malicious payment tools, avoiding wasted funds.
