Open-Source AI-Native HCM System MintHCM Launches with MCP/A2A Support
tom_doerr · x · 2026-08-12
MintHCM is an open-source, AI-native HCM (Human Capital Management) system designed for Agentic Engineering. It enables building, customizing, and deploying AI-agent-driven HR systems with full control over data, architecture, and infrastructure.
Compared to existing solutions, MintHCM addresses the lack of data sovereignty and deep customization in traditional SaaS HR, the absence of native AI agent ecosystems in other open-source HR tools, and the lack of data/infrastructure ownership in AI-first SaaS.
Key features include:
- Agent-ready: Native support for AI agents, integrating MCP and A2A protocols, with no vendor lock-in.
- Data ownership: Users fully own their data, code, and infrastructure.
- Open source: Available on GitHub with 390 stars and 79 forks.
