The open-source project Alook aims to turn local AI coding agents into a collaborative workforce, exploring a new paradigm for multi-agent orchestration.
Instead of traditional graph-based node and edge wiring, the project draws inspiration from human corporate organizational structures. It assigns specific roles and reporting lines to different agents, allowing workflows to move organically up and down the chain of command—much like a real company—without manual message relaying. The solution is 100% local and open-source, supporting real-time collaboration between humans and agents via email.
