LTX-2.5 Live in ComfyUI: Introduces Dynamic Compute Budget Rendering
Comfy-Org · reddit · 2026-08-12
ComfyUI officially announces native support for the newly released LTX-2.5 video model. The major upgrade is the introduction of Diffusion Fidelity Rendering, which dynamically allocates compute based on scene complexity, prioritizing motion, composition, and keyframes to preserve complex textures and faces within a given compute budget.
Other significant updates include:
- Diffusion Video Decoder: Replaces standard VAE decoding, reducing smears in fast motion and sharpening faces and text.
- Native Multi-shot: Generates multiple connected shots maintaining character, environment, lighting, and style consistency in one go.
- New Text Encoder: Uses a custom Gemma 4 12B encoder to handle multiple subjects, actions, and camera directions across long prompts.
- RL Post-training: Aligned with human preferences on a broader dataset, increasing the take rate of usable clips.
LTX-2.5 is available in three variants: the main model, a Distilled version, and a Pretrained Checkpoint for aggressive fine-tuning.
