A team at Stanford University has open-sourced Biomni, a general-purpose biomedical AI agent, which has already garnered 3.7k stars on GitHub.
Biomni is designed to autonomously execute a wide range of biomedical research tasks. By combining large language model (LLM) reasoning with retrieval-augmented planning and code-based execution, it helps scientists dramatically enhance research productivity and generate testable hypotheses.
