Junyang Lin, former head of Alibaba's Qwen LLM, officially announced his new venture, PragmatikLabs. Based in Shanghai, the startup focuses on next-generation Agents for both digital and physical worlds, emphasizing a 'Research to product' philosophy. Previously reported by The Information, the company has raised hundreds of millions of dollars in its first funding round, reaching a valuation of about $2 billion. The round was co-led by Gaorong Capital and Sequoia China, with backing from Tencent and the Shanghai Future Industry Fund.
