Datavant recapitalizes $2.5B in debt, plans merger with AI RCM firm SmarterDx

Healthcare data company Datavant is reportedly recapitalizing $2.5 billion in debt and plans to merge with AI revenue cycle management (RCM) company SmarterDx once the deal closes.
SmarterDx was previously combined with Thoughtful AI and Access Healthcare under New Mountain Capital’s RCM roll-up, Smarter Technologies, last year.
