Developer Shares: AI Agents Now Handle 99% of Complex System Coding
AccBalanced · x · 2026-08-12
Developer svpino shared an aggressive practice of using AI coding assistants on X: in a massive system deployed on AWS that continuously trains a dozen custom vision models, Claude Code and Codex now handle 99% of the coding.
He stated that the team has completely stopped manual code reviews. The reason is that the quality of AI-generated code has reached a tipping point—the ratio between time spent reading the code and bugs found is no longer worth it. This sparked a discussion on whether AI should be fully trusted in complex engineering.
