LTX-2.5 Released: Native Multishot Video Generation in One Pass
ltx_model · reddit · 2026-08-12
Lightricks announced the release of LTX-2.5, featuring a major overhaul of nearly every pipeline stage, alongside a larger dataset and reinforcement-learning post-training.
Key highlights of this update:
- Native Multishot: A single generation produces multiple connected shots, maintaining character identity, environment, lighting, voice, and style across cuts.
- Diffusion Fidelity Rendering: Instead of locking to one compression rate, the model dynamically allocates compute based on scene complexity and budget, dedicating more power to visually demanding moments.
- Better Distilled Model: Retains far more of the full model's quality at much lower compute, making near-full quality realistic on consumer GPUs.
Weights, Python pipelines, and ComfyUI workflows are open-source.
