Alibaba Cloud's CUBE 5.0 Modular Design Builds AI Data Centers in 100 Days at 10% Lower Cost

Alibaba Cloud stated that with its latest CUBE 5.0 modular data center design, it can now build large AI data centers in just 100 days while cutting construction costs by about 10%.
This timeline is significantly shorter than the typical 6 to 12 months required in China and 12 to 18 months in the US. The accelerated schedule is achieved by moving infrastructure components like power, cooling, and security into factories where modules can be produced simultaneously before on-site assembly.
