ChatGPT Desktop App Launches in Preview for Major Linux Distributions

OpenAI has announced that the ChatGPT desktop app is now available in preview for Linux. The release supports desktop variants of major distributions including Ubuntu 24.04 LTS and 26.04 LTS, Debian 13, and Fedora 43 and 44.
Users can install the application using .deb or .rpm packages, with full support for both x64 and ARM64 architectures.
