Anthropic previously claimed that an unreleased research version of Claude made strides on the Riemann hypothesis by increasing the lower bound for the fraction of zeros satisfying the hypothesis from 41.6% to 67.2%.
In response, expert tonylfeng commented that while it is a nice result, it represents 0% progress towards actually resolving the Riemann Hypothesis. JFPuget amplified this skeptical viewpoint.
