Founder Uses ChatGPT to Design mRNA Cancer Vaccine for His Dog, Launches YC-Backed Gamgee

Paul Conyngham's dog Rosie was given months to live after chemo and immunotherapy failed. Using ChatGPT combined with computational genomics, he designed a personalized mRNA cancer vaccine for her tumours, which successfully shrank several of them.
Based on this success, he has now launched Gamgee (backed by YC S26), focusing on personalized mRNA cancer vaccines for dogs.
