Claude Proofreading Flags Human Text as AI-Generated
rickasaurus · x · 2026-08-12
Developer @krishdotdev pointed out that AI text detectors are increasingly struggling with false positives. Even if a text is written entirely from scratch by a human, simply using Claude to proofread it can result in the content being flagged as "AI-processed."
This indicates we are entering an era where AI provenance does not equal AI authorship, making it harder for current detection logic to distinguish between fully AI-generated text and human writing polished by AI.
